This is a study in contrasts: the precision of pixel art against the organic imperfections of hand-placed tiles. We’ll reflect on how digital visuals, often fleeting and intangible, can gain weight, texture, and permanence through a slow, thoughtful process.

Set atop Rooftop Trobar, basking in the golden warmth of the winter sun, our creative workshops unfold in a setting as inspiring as the art itself. Framed by contemporary architecture, abstract forms, and a vibrant rainbow mural, the space radiates colour, light, and possibility—a perfect canvas for creativity.
Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a signature Trobar cocktail, a first sip of what will be a truly immersive experience. Before diving into the workshop, we believe in connection—because creativity flourishes in shared moments. Guests mingle, meeting fellow makers over drinks, laughter, and light conversation, setting the tone for an afternoon of inspiration and discovery.
Our founder and Ruth will then introduce the session, offering insight into the art form and the experience ahead. With expert hands-on guidance, each participant will be led through the creative process, encouraged to explore materials, techniques, and personal expression in a relaxed yet enriching atmosphere. Throughout the workshop, guests can order from Trobar’s menu, enjoying curated bites and drinks that complement the flow of creativity.
And when the structured session ends, the experience doesn’t—guests are invited to linger, soaking in the blissful afternoon, sharing stories, reflecting on their work, and continuing the connection over more laughter, possibly more drinks and a shared appreciation for what they’ve created.
